Connie is a Welsh pyrography artist who now lives near Nottingham. She creates unique pieces of jewellery, functional homeware items and original wood art.

Many woodturners like to decorate their work with carving, colouring or pyrography … the art of burning designs onto wood or leather! Connie has built a successful career creating, demonstrating and teaching pyrography and has been a huge hit at The Creative Craft Show and Makers Central. She is coming to give a talk and demonstration about how she discovered this wonderful craft and the equipment and techniques that she uses. Hopefully she will inspire us all to have a go and share some of the tips and secrets of this wonderful medium. Connie will also be bringing a few items along for sale, so don’t forget your pocket money!
